Job Description: As a Mid-Level Geologist, you will play a key role in supporting our environmental projects and geological investigations. Working closely with senior geologists and project managers, you will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, and management of various geological and environmental aspects. Your responsibilities will include:
Fieldwork and Site Investigations:
- Conducting field investigations to collect soil, water, and rock samples.
- Performing geological surveys, mapping, and site characterization.
- Implementing drilling programs and overseeing drilling activities.
- Utilizing various field equipment and instrumentation for data collection.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyzing geological and environmental data collected from field investigations.
- Conducting laboratory tests and interpreting results.
- Preparing detailed reports and technical documentation.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to analyze complex geological data.
Environmental Compliance and Permitting:
- Assisting in environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance.
- Participating in the development and implementation of environmental management plans.
- Supporting the preparation of permit applications and compliance reports.
- Conducting site assessments and assisting with remediation efforts.
Project Coordination and Client Interaction:
- Assisting in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Collaborating with project managers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Interacting with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
- Supporting business development activities and participating in proposal writing.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in geological investigations and environmental consulting.
- Strong knowledge of geological principles, soil science, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with fieldwork techniques, including sampling, surveying, and drilling.
- Proficiency in geospatial analysis tools and software (e.g., GIS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities for technical reports and client interactions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work in outdoor environments.
