Responsibilities: As a Hybrid Low Voltage Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing sophisticated low voltage systems while overseeing project management aspects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and clients, to understand project requirements and goals.
- Designing and integrating complex low voltage systems, ensuring seamless functionality and adherence to industry standards.
- Utilizing AutoCAD to develop detailed system layouts and technical documentation.
- Managing low voltage projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Overseeing installation and commissioning processes, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Conducting system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Providing technical expertise and support to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to propose innovative solutions to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field prferred.
- RCDD Certificaion preferred.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Low Voltage Engineer, with a focus on technology integration and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for system design and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and their integration into broader technology environments.
- Experience in electrical or low voltage project management, from conception to completion.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes, such as NEC, NFPA, and BICSI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
