Job Title: Lead Security System Technician/Field Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled security system technician to install, maintain, and repair security systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, programming, and troubleshooting of various security systems, including alarms, access control systems, and CCTV cameras. The technician will also be responsible for providing customer support and training clients on the proper use of their security systems.
Responsibilities:
* Install and configure security systems according to client specifications
* Program and troubleshoot security systems to ensure proper functionality
* Test security systems to ensure they are working effectively
* Provide training to clients on the proper use of their security systems
* Perform routine maintenance on security systems to prevent malfunctions
* Respond promptly to service calls and resolve any issues with security systems
* Maintain accurate records of all installation and maintenance activities
* Stay up-to-date with the latest security system technologies and trends
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical school training preferred
* Minimum of 2 years of experience installing and maintaining security systems
* Knowledge of various security systems, including alarms, access control systems, and CCTV cameras
* Familiarity with computer networking and software applications
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
