A global and leading Water Treatment Technologies Company is looking for a Lead Application Engineer in Shanghai, China. This Product Application Engineer will be working closely with the sales team and responsible for solving technical issues pertaining to UF/RO/NF.
Preferred Location: Shanghai, Beijing, or Xi'An
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to sales team domestically while developing technical solutions and proposals for the entire engineering portfolio (UF/RO/NF etc)
- Being a technical expert in filtration and separations
- Creates technical content for marketing collateral, case studies, product fact sheets, & industry playbooks
- Executes the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound scientific/engineering principals
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in product engineering or technical sales support
- Academic background in Chemical / Environmental / Water Treatment Engineering (other relevant disciplines can be considered)
- Proficient on engineering technology such as design / installation / commissioning /operation of membrane products, water treatment processes, and waste water treatment processes, water and non-water applications for membrane technology, etc.
- Bilingual and fluent in both English and Chinese (oral and written)
- Strong Analytical Skills; ability to implement data-driven decisions from technical data & presenting them on trade shows/conferences
- Able to travel frequently, mainly domestically in China
- Only applicable to local Chinese nationals (due to limited VISA quotas).
