My client is a Civil Engineering, Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Land Planning, and Environmental firm looking for a Project Manager, to fill a full-time position in Pasco County.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing site/land development and permitting designs
- Reviewing deliverables for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, client contract requirements, and related specifications.
- Maintaining project schedules and preparing budgets.
- Developing project pursuit teaming relationships.
- Evaluating design changes, specifications, and drawings.
- Preparing project progress reports, and other various reports.
- Providing client management for existing and new clients.
- Business development, including networking, grant funding opportunities, proposal writing, preparing scopes of work, project budgets, project management, and schedules. Effectively process multiple permitting entitlements across a variety of governmental agencies. Local experience preferred.
- Perform construction management, including meetings with contractor and client, project schedule and budget management, requests for information and submittals, and conducting inspections.
- Project management, project development and oversight, including technical review of work by others, mentoring and providing clear direction to support staff, collaboration with other professionals, and managing scopes, budgets and schedules across multiple projects.
- Interact with clients and regulators, provide professional expertise and guidance to clients, satisfy project objectives and manage client expectations, conduct meetings, and provide presentations.
Requirements:
- Engineering expertise in water & wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, drainage systems, roadways, and other similar land development related design.
- Experience with taking project from entitlements through construction.
- Participate in company marketing efforts to help grow the company's profile and relationships with our existing and future client base and governmental agencies.
- Ability to train, lead and mentor team members.
- Minimum of a BS in Civil Engineering and Florida P.E. licensure.
- 7+ years of civil engineering experience with land development projects.
- Engineering programs such as ICPR, StormCAD, & WaterCAD.
- High-energy, hard-working, detail oriented, and technically sound with engineering principles & practices.
