Their mission is to drive the transition to clean energy by developing innovative and sustainable solar power projects. We are expanding our operations in Taiwan and are seeking a highly motivated Land Acquisition Manager to join our team.
Job Overview: The Land Acquisition Manager will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing land for solar development projects in Yun Lin and Kaohsiung. This role requires a strong network with landowners in these regions, along with expertise in the local real estate market. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company's growth and ensuring the successful development of solar energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Land Acquisition: Identify and acquire suitable land parcels for solar projects. Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, local stakeholders, and governmental authorities.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential land opportunities. Evaluate land value, zoning regulations, and other factors affecting acquisition.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with landowners and other parties to secure land leases or purchases. Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Due Diligence: Oversee due diligence processes, including environmental assessments, land surveys, and title searches. Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with local government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to gain support for solar projects and address any concerns or objections.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, legal advisors, and engineers, to ensure smooth integration of acquired land into the development pipeline.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on land acquisition progress, challenges, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or related fields, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Network: Established and strong network with landowners, local real estate agents, and relevant stakeholders in Yun Lin and Kaohsiung.
- Skills:
- Proven negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with local zoning laws, land use regulations, and environmental considerations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Language: Proficiency in Mandarin is required. Knowledge of English is preferred.
