Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Principal FOU Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading geotechnical and structural engineering projects related to offshore wind foundations. This role requires a deep understanding of geotechnical and structural engineering principles and extensive experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and analysis of offshore wind foundation structures.
- Oversee geotechnical investigations and assessments.
- Develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical and structural engineering.
- Extensive experience with offshore wind foundation design and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
- Professional engineering certification.
