My client works with the world's leading companies and organizations to provide expertise and value to customers and stakeholders while solving challenges across the civil engineering construction industry. Urgently looking for a Head of Engineering Manager who are ready to take on the challenges of sustainability and infrastructure constructions.
The Head of Engineering Manager - Japan is responsible for leading the local team in the country to achieve Company targets in the Renewable Energy business, including but not limited to solar photovoltaic, onshore wind, offshore wind etc, and managing projects with the construction manager, development team, the group of Engineers and other 3rd parties, with the purpose of optimizing maximum output and making sure of the timely and smooth flow of activities to ensure the completion of the Project on time.
Main role:
- Provide supervision and technical coordination for new projects development, facilities implementation, basic and detailed design, pre-construction survey, client relationship management.
- Ensures objectives and decision making align with the organization goals
- Management and engineering advisory on projects in development and construction stage
- Work closely with third parties contractors, external stakeholders
- Lead up the civil engineering function to support on project biddings and tendering
Requirements:
- 10+ years of previous experience in developing/ management of large scale energy related projects
- Only for people who are currently residing in Japan
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural/ Construction/ Marine
- Experience in EPC management, Stakeholder management, Vendor Management, Equipment installation (Energy)
- Fluency in both English and Japanese is a must
- Experiences in Oil&Gas, Renewable Energy, Offshore construction, General construction (Bridge/Road/Mega infrastructure)
