Introduction
We are looking for an experienced Highway Engineer to join our team in New York. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the charge in designing, planning,and meticulously overseeing the construction and maintenance of highways and roads. Collaborating closely with clients, you'll ensure projects are not just delivered on time and within budget, but exceed expectations with precision and innovation
Responsibilities
- Design and plan highway and road construction projects
- Oversee the construction of highways and roads
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions
- Developing roadway, trail and sidewalk designs
- Intersection design and layout including roundabouts and traffic signals
Qualifications
- 8-15 years experience
- Proficiency with Microstation, Inroads and AutoTurn
- Working knowledge of the NYSDOT Highway Design Manual
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program or an approved equivalent.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure required
- Strong project management & communication skills
