Position: Heavy Civil Roadway Superintendent

Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 + Bonus(es)

Role Overview:
- As a Heavy Civil Roadway Superintendent, you will oversee the construction and maintenance of major roadway projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your expertise will be crucial in managing teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining safety and compliance across all aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all field activities, including excavation, grading, paving, and drainage.
- Manage and lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications, providing guidance and resolving issues.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Roadway Superintendent or similar role in large-scale roadway construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of roadway construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Experience working on FDOT grading and paving projects is required.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications and a valid driver's license are preferred.
