An European industrial engineering and separation technology MNC is looking for a Head of Petrochemical Sales in Shanghai, China. This position will be responsible for establishing long and short term strategies, to identify and pursue new opportunities, and improve profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Developing sales strategies and tactics to achieve & exceed goals
- Establish a customer-focused culture by implementing initiatives
- Monitor the actual business performance against budget / forecast and ensure the implementation of appropriate actions that will led to the achievement of the financial targets.
- Lead new product launches into the market and handle multiple projects/stakeholders concurrently
- Assist in organizing trade shows and promotional campaigns
- Manage a sales team of more than 50 and coach sales engineers and managers in preparing/presenting proposals and quotations
- Coordinate product division, field engineering, training and other unit resources to meet technical and service requirements
Requirements:
- 20+ years of sales management experience for refinery, petrochemical, or chemical market
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Business or any other relevant disciplines
- Excellent track record in large capital project sales (e.g. machinery, tower, skid, heat exchangers etc.)
- P&L and cross-departmental management experience is a bonus
- Extensive traveling domestically in China or sometimes regionally
- Leadership experience of more than 50 sales staff across China
- Strong command in English - both spoken and written
