We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Director to join our client's team and to lead our solar projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in the solar industry, a strong track record of project management, and proficiency in Mandarin to collaborate effectively with our regional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the technical team in the design, development, and execution of solar projects.
- Oversee the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Provide technical direction and support to project managers, engineers, and other team members.
Project Oversight:
- Ensure the technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of solar projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of solar systems to optimize efficiency and output.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and clients, to ensure project success.
- Provide technical insights and recommendations during project discussions and negotiations.
- Communicate effectively in Mandarin with local teams, partners, and suppliers.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, technologies, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive innovation in project design and execution by implementing the latest solar technologies and methodologies.
- Identify areas for improvement in processes, systems, and tools to enhance project delivery and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the solar industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar power systems, including PV design, grid connection, and energy storage solutions.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale solar projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage cross-functional teams.
