We have a current opportunity for a Country Manager for a global Geotechnical and Offshore Wind Consultancy on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Taipei, Taiwan. For further information about this position please apply.
Responsibilities:
- The development and growth of the offshore wind business within Taiwan and the management of all local business activities.
- Ensuring the technical integrity and accuracy of the final deliverables to clients at all times.
- Build and develop a local team of suitably qualified technical personnel to provide the necessary engineering support to the in-country projects and to be able to support the overall engineering team in other geographical locations if capacity allows.
- Where necessary provide training for the local engineering team in the offshore wind industry.
- Coordinate with other resources as required to ensure projects have sufficient capacity to execute works.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales and business development
- Geotechnical knowledge and experience
- Wide network and experience within the offshore wind industry
- An interest in working in a start-up environment
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous
