Position Overview
We are seeking an Audio-Visual Field Engineer to handle the integration, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex AV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and close out complex audiovisual and control systems
- Configure and troubleshoot equipment for various AV needs, including networking and video conferencing
- Use laptops and testing equipment to ensure proper installation and quality control
- Configure networked AV devices and video over IP systems
- Provide client training and create training materials if needed
- Develop control system programming skills, particularly in Extron and QSC
- Document system configurations, commissioning reports, and assist with project closeout
Qualifications
- Experience with control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC) and associated software
- Strong skills in cable terminations and networking
- Technical degree or CTS certification preferred; minimum of 3 years in AV and system commissioning
- Dante Certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Personal toolkit required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at height
