Position: Mid-Level Environmental Engineer
Location: Brighton, MI
Job Overview: We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Environmental Engineer to join our Brighton, MI office. This role involves supporting site characterization and remediation projects for federal and private clients across the Great Lakes region and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in projects from the initial site characterization scoping through to remedial actions, including technical and cost proposal development.
- Conduct engineering analysis and design.
- Prepare detailed reports and bid documents.
- Provide construction administration support for a range of challenging projects.
- Contribute to business development efforts.
- Plan site investigations and manage field teams.
- Participate in site investigations such as remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, and remedial actions.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure project goals are met.

Required Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in environmental, civil, geotechnical, coastal engineering, or a related field (M.S. degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training certificate with the ability to obtain a PE is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in site characterization and remediation projects, with knowledge of the CERCLA process and proven project management skills.
- Ability to effectively work with clients across commercial, federal, state, and local government sectors.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience in report writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate productively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Prior experience with multi-disciplinary projects and a demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Willingness to work in both field and office settings, including environmental sampling and field activities, to provide oversight and training for early career staff.
