Responsibilities:
- Take charge of overseeing the technical development project scope and ensure the project team, composed of skilled professionals, thrives and performs at a high level.
- Lead the technical project team, which includes package managers and engineering specialists.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality, leading by example and making it a top priority for the teams.
- Negotiate and manage project-specific agreements in collaboration with other internal departments.
- Plan, organize, manage, and execute the program, achieving targets with excellent QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) performance.
- Efficiently manage partnerships and partner relations to maximize long-term value for the organization.
- Drive strategic initiatives and ensure that lessons learned are captured and utilized to drive continuous improvements within the organization.
- Manage and foster productive and successful cooperation with both internal and external project stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment and agreement on technical matters with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) portion of the budget for bidding, as well as later stages such as FID (Final Investment Decision), while assessing associated risks.
- Foster collaboration within teams, both internally and externally.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables from project teams, manage HSE, project risks, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Extensive senior project management experience and a proven track record in an Engineering Manager role for a developer.
- Knowledge and competence equivalent to IPMA level A/B and/or PMI/PMP certification.
- At least 12 years of experience in the offshore wind industry, including the execution of large-scale projects, working with multiple suppliers, particularly in the early development phase from pre-bid to financial close.
- Holds a master's degree in Engineering, supported by leadership training relevant to leading leaders level.
- Experience in leading multicultural and multi-disciplinary project teams, driving solutions, and delivering results while fostering a motivating environment with partners.
- Solid understanding of the impact of technical and commercial factors on the business case.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to manage technical, commercial, and stakeholder relationships effectively.
