I recently started with one of the leading Vertically Integrated Solar Companies Globally! They are a fortune 500 company and have an incredibly strong financial backing. They are looking for a Solar Project Manager to oversee their newly established C&I/Residential installation business. This is an interesting venture for them, since they are more widely known as a Utility Scale Solar company.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the C&I projects from Pre-NTP through COD including PV and Energy Storage components
- Experience with projects between a couple 100 KW to 10MW
- Establish site requirements for
- Labor
- AHJ Permitting
- Safety
- Utility/ISO interconnection and permit costs
- Obtain all of the necessary permitting
- Develop and oversee system designs, project schedules, cost estimators, bill of materials, budgets and scope of work
- Supervise the entire installation to assure time, cost, and quality
- Prior extensive contract negotiation experience with subcontractors, consultants or engineering
- Provide project updates
Project Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Management or other related fields
- Minimum of 5 years managing the performance of major projects, in power stations, supply networks, or other C&I scale construction projects
- Minimum of 3 years Solar PV or Solar + Battery Storage
- Experience with interconnection and permitting
- Smartsheet, MS Project and other relevant project management software
