We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Manager to lead and oversee electrical operations for our solar power projects in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical engineering, with extensive experience in the solar energy sector. This role involves managing electrical design, installation, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical System Management:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems for solar power projects.
- Ensure all electrical installations meet technical standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Project Oversight:
- Oversee electrical aspects of solar projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address any electrical issues or modifications needed during project phases.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and support career development for team members.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems and installations to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support for the resolution of complex electrical issues that arise during project execution or operations.
- Develop and implement troubleshooting protocols to address and rectify system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Manage relationships with electrical equipment suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all external parties comply with project requirements and deliver high-quality work.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to electrical designs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Generate and present reports on project status, electrical system performance, and any issues or deviations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on solar power systems. Proven experience in project management and team leadership is essential.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, solar power technologies, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing technical teams.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Additional Requirements: Ability to travel as needed to project sites across Taiwan.
