Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer/Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for various projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Prepare design documents, including electrical data, drawings, and operation manuals.
- Review and ensure compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and sound engineering principles.
- Provide technical support for the installation and configuration of hardware and software systems.
- Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting of electrical panels and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales/Marketing, Quality Control, and Production Departments.
- Assist in sourcing components and raw materials, providing specifications, and evaluating vendor quality.
- Participate in special projects, including highly customized products and designs for specific applications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
- A 2 or 4 year graduate of either tech school or college
- 5-10 years of experience in the design of electrical systems for institutional, health care, and commercial buildings
- Revit proficiency
