Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Director of Water Resources to lead and expand our Water Resources Service Group. The role involves overseeing projects related to water and wastewater systems, including treatment plants, distribution systems, stormwater management, and more. You will also contribute to enhancing the company's brand, developing business strategies, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure project completion within budget and schedule, meeting client needs and design standards.
- Implement technical protocols and oversee technical and business operations.
- Lead training and professional development for associates.
- Develop regional budgets and ensure compliance with laws and standards.
- Manage financials, revenue growth, and staffing resources.
- Develop and execute business development strategies, including client relationship management.
- Represent the organization at networking events and conferences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years in a supervisory role.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, RLA, AICP) preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze, think creatively, and manage resources effectively.
Position Details:
- Full-time role with occasional overtime which is compensated.
- Primarily local travel required.
- Valid driver's license needed.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Manage technical and professional staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
