Director of Transportation Design
Summary:
A statewide consultancy specializing in multimodal design and new transportation technologies is seeking a skilled individual to join their expanding team. The group has locations across the state of California has seen tremendous growth as well as new teaming opportunities.
The Director of Transportation Design will be responsible for:
- Training and mentoring of multiple levels of staff
- Manage existing client relationships as well as supporting new business pursuits with public sector clients
- Development, preparation, and approval of designs spanning from mid to large scale traffic engineering projects
- Responding to comments from clients on designs submitted
- Managing project workload across offices, team members, and prime/sub consultants
The Director of Transportation Design should have the following qualifications:
- California PE (or ability to obtain in 6 months)
- 10+ Years' Experience in transportation engineering design and project management
- Proficiency in utilization of Synchro, Vissim, Microstation, or AutoCAD
- PTOE Preferred
- Prior experience in management of Traffic Engineering Projects
