Job Summary
Test and document control points, hardware, and software to ensure proper system function.
Essential Job Functions
- Preferred: Experience with Distech and/or Siemens programming, commissioning, and graphics.
- Perform point-to-point checkout and calibration.
- Conduct functional testing and verify system operations as per the sequence of operations.
- Document and track punch list items and deficiencies.
- Demonstrate system operation to customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality control inspections of installations and programming.
- Provide customer training.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of DDC controls experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment sequences, including terminal boxes, fan coil units, VAVs, RTUs, AHUs, and 4-pipe systems.
- Understanding of control devices and low voltage wiring.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and design.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work flexible hours.
- Valid NC driver's license.
- Pass a background check.
