We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil or environmental construction, with a specific focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans.
- Oversee project site safety and compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control.
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues or delays to keep the project on track.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with municipal authorities and environmental agencies to ensure project compliance with local and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction practices, standards, and regulations related to environmental projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
