They are currently seeking a Land Development Civil Project Manager to join their office in Tampa, FL.
Primary Function
In this role, you will have the ability to work on a variety of commercial and residential projects for the Land Development Practice.
Responsabilities
- Participates in the development of project design concepts and criteria
- Designs major structures and prepares working drawings and related project documents
- Makes recommendations on project staffing
- Organizes project information and record systems
- Monitors project progress to measure technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget
- Makes recommendations on design alternatives and assists in proposal preparation
- May plan, organize, and supervise design activities for a project of significant size and complexity (e.g., a multi-structure facility requiring frequent interface and collaboration with various engineering disciplines)
- Performs quantity takeoff and cost estimations
- Analyzes stormwater drainage and prepares technical reports
- Have familiarity with AutoCAD software, ICPR and Hydraflow
- Participates in mentorship
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in, Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college
- 6+ years of related experience in the site design and permitting
- State of Florida PE license or ability to obtain via reciprocity
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
- Highly self-motivated self starter, able to forecast and initiate project management tasks
- Work independently but collaborate as needed
