Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Lead Office Manager with 10+ years of experience to oversee and manage the daily operations of our civil engineering office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering project management, excellent leadership skills, and a knack for office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the civil engineering office, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and administrative staff, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate and monitor multiple civil engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Handle office budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative office culture that promotes professional growth and teamwork.
- Represent the firm at industry events, client meetings, and other professional gatherings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully completing complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Solid understanding of office management procedures and best practices.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial planning.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $125,000 to $155,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
