Title: Civil Design Engineer, Tokyo Japan
Urgently looking for a Civil Design Engineer to work for a leading International renewable energy firm in Tokyo, Japan. This company is coming up with a lot of exciting projects all over Japan.
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the renewable energy plants of Solar, with the target of supervising the design, installation of Solar Panels, civil engineering support across multiple projects including creating outline designs, during due diligence, development and construction phases including site/route selection, ground investigation specification, earthworks designs, road upgrade and landscaping for proposed assets
Main Role:
- Understanding of Earthwork analysis, grading/leveling design. Soil movements, embankments, soil material, roads design.
- Due Diligence and feasibility studies.
- Water facilities, drainage system, retention ponds, river investigation, disaster prevention plan, storm-water planning, etc. (understanding)
- Ensure compliance with proper HSE standards on the site and report to management about the installation progress.
- Site investigation fieldwork. Before/during/after construction. (Investigation, feasibility technical report, monitoring, construction supervision, etc.)
- Periodical site visits to check the conditions of the plants under supervision following internal procedures.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of previous experience in wind construction site.
- Civil Engineering degree is not mandatory. Other relative degrees as land surveying are okay too. If no degree, consolidated experience is needed.
- Fluent English ability is required. Japanese Language is not mandatory.
- Frequent visits to the site location so driving license are required
- Working experience in Renewable energy field and the eagerness to contribute to nature.
