A global analytical instrumentation company is looking for a China Sales Manager (Director Level) in Shanghai, to lead the Primary Materials Division (Raw materials for primary production or manufacturing of goods). You will be expected to lead a team of >8 Sales Executives/Managers across China.
Product: Analytical/Scientific Instruments
Market: Primary Material (for oil, gas, steel manufacturing)
Location: Shanghai, China
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growth and profitability for all sales across China
- Support relationship of sales vendors, clients and stakeholders in China
- Act as an 'Hunter' and ensure team members achieve all sales target set for the sector
- Work closely with marketing and inside sales team for further expansion plans
- Coordinates input from application support team for pre and post sales activities
- Be brand ambassador and key sales rep for China market
- Prepare monthly forecast and manage sales reporting to HQ
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of analytical instruments sales experience in China
- Bachelor's degree in relevant Science, Business or Engineering
- Management qualification such as MBA would be preferred.
- Proven track record in B2B sales and leadership management
- Speaks fluent English and Mandarin
- Wide knowledge and understanding of the market for laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Ability to travel domestically across China
