I've just started a search for one of the fastest-growing industrial general contractors in Chicago who are looking for a Travelling Super to help grow the company! The ideal candidate will be willing to travel for construction projects throughout Chicago and the Midwest.
Responsibilities
- Superintendent shall supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a daily basis.
- Maintain a daily log of activities on the job-site
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Assist with budgeting, bidding, and awarding of subcontracts as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experienced in industrial projects
- Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field
