Position Overview: We are seeking a Structural Bridge Design Engineer to join a prominent engineering firm the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bridge design and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of structural bridge projects from concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Utilize advanced structural analysis software to develop and refine bridge design models.
- Prepare and review detailed technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and design team members.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Effectively manage project timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in California.
- 3+ years of experience in structural bridge design and engineering.
- Proficiency with bridge design software and structural analysis tools.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices.
