We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Project Supervisor to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing AV installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, excellent communication skills and strong commissioning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise AV installation projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Commission AV Systems
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project scope and requirements.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of AV systems.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in audiovisual technology, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AV project management or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of AV systems, including audio, video, lighting, and control systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
