Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Production Manager to join our team in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing audio-visual production for a variety of live events, including corporate meetings, conferences, concerts, and other special events. The AV Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of AV production, from planning and coordination to execution and post-event evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of AV production for live events.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful event delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing expert advice on AV solutions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of AV technicians, engineers, and freelancers.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the project goals.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Technical Expertise:
- Ensure the proper setup, operation, and dismantling of AV equipment, including sound systems, video projectors, lighting, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Stay updated on the latest AV technology trends and recommend upgrades or new equipment as needed.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to discuss event requirements and logistics.
- Provide post-event evaluations and reports to clients, identifying areas for improvement.
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all AV requirements are met.
- Manage the transportation, setup, and teardown of AV equipment for events.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed during event setup and operation.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage AV production budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best rates for services and equipment.
