Responsibilities
- Experience interfacing with client and external partners
- Plan and direct work and manage a project budget form and discipline design perspective on large complex projects required
- Project Manager to proposal development, man-hour planning, project scheduling for the discipline scope of work on intermediate level projects.
- Advanced experience conducting and leading field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting
- Identify and resolve intermediate non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys
- Develop construction drawing packages and write construction specifications on advanced and complex projects with little oversight
- Lead and advanced support of construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch list development, and construction progress reports
- Conduct quality checking of documents for intermediate complex projects, e.g. technical verification of design calculations and documentation, and drive overall project quality
- Provide mentorship to discipline Engineer I and II and/or Designer I and II
- Lead advanced project system design programming and master planning with support from Senior Engineer
- Lead a team of discipline staff in the execution of advanced projects discipline design and engineering
Qualifications / Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of GMP manufacturing environments
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required for Lead position, preferably in a design firm setting
