Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company protocols, meeting all departmental requirements and deadlines.
- Efficiently pull and stage equipment for outgoing and incoming orders.
- Test all equipment entering the warehouse, including new and returned items.
- Diagnose, document, and repair damaged equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for external equipment repairs as needed.
- Maintain an organized and efficient department environment.
- Provide assistance and training to team members within the department.
- Learn and familiarize yourself with new equipment as necessary.
- Transport gear to appropriate preparation or staging areas for events.
- Operate a variety of hand tools safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience working with professional audio equipment; experience in dry-hire environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
- 1-2 years of management experience.
- Ability to regularly lift and move at least 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn and operate Rental Works software.
- Willingness to work late hours and weekends during peak periods.
- Strong team leadership skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle quick turnarounds.
- Excellent multitasking and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
- Experience using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to transport items.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to stand or move for up to 100% of the workday (8 hours daily) and perform activities such as frequent use of hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking, and reaching.
