Job Summary: As the Construction Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple construction projects in the Tracy area. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful execution of projects within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. With your extensive project management experience and deep understanding of paving, grading, and heavy highway construction, you will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Utilize your 10+ years of project management experience to plan, execute, and monitor construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect construction activities, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain quality standards.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership:
