My client seeking an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their team in Los Angeles. As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of acoustic-related projects. You will be expected to manage complex projects from start to finish, including developing project scopes, overseeing project timelines and budgets, conducting site visits, and delivering high-quality reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of acoustic-related projects
- Manage complex projects from start to finish, including developing project scopes, overseeing project timelines and budgets, conducting site visits, and delivering high-quality reports
- Conduct noise and vibration assessments, including environmental impact assessments, transportation noise studies, and building acoustics assessments
- Conduct field measurements and data analysis using specialized equipment and software
- Provide technical support to clients and colleagues on acoustic-related issues
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in acoustic-related technology and techniques
- Supervise and mentor junior staff as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in acoustics consulting, with a focus on noise and vibration assessments, environmental impact assessments, and building acoustics assessments
- Strong technical knowledge of acoustics, including the principles of sound and vibration, noise and vibration measurement techniques, and specialized acoustic-related software and equipment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex acoustic-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
- A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
