My client is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their team in the Denver area. As an Acoustic Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of acoustic-related projects. You will be expected to manage complex projects from start to finish, including developing project scopes, overseeing project timelines and budgets, conducting site visits, and delivering high-quality reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of acoustic-related projects
- Manage complex projects from start to finish, including developing project scopes, overseeing project timelines and budgets, conducting site visits, and delivering high-quality reports
- Conduct noise and vibration assessments, including environmental impact assessments, transportation noise studies, and building acoustics assessments
- Conduct field measurements and data analysis using specialized equipment and software
- Provide technical support to clients and colleagues on acoustic-related issues
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in acoustic-related technology and techniques
- Supervise and mentor junior staff as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in acoustics consulting, with a focus on noise and vibration assessments, environmental impact assessments, and building acoustics assessments
- Strong technical knowledge of acoustics, including the principles of sound and vibration, noise and vibration measurement techniques, and specialized acoustic-related software and equipment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex acoustic-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing and mentoring junior staff
- A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
