The successful candidate will assist in creating drawings and project documents from information provided by engineers using various computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow in a multidisciplinary engineering office, and be willing to have fun.
Qualificaitions:
- 3 or more years' experience in drafting and design.
- Experience with the latest release of AutoCAD and REVIT design tools.
- Possess computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, BlueBeam, and graphics.
- Able to work with numerous project teams to help with project completion.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
The successful candidate may contribute to the success of the structural department in a variety of ways. A successful candidate need not possess all the experience and abilities listed below.
- Technical or associate degree in engineering or related sciences
- Experience in modeling buildings in REVIT and producing 2D structural details.
- Experience detailing steel, wood, concrete and masonry
- Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, and AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
